Beaded Glory

One of these days we’ll manage to get a picture of Ivis beading her marvellous collars but for the time being we’ll have to make do with photographs of the finished products.

The beads are a mixture of old ones that Ivy has collected over time, or new ones that she’s picked up more recently, or beads that she’s been given by people who always meant to make that necklace but never quite got round to it.  Each bead is separately attached to the collar, which is also hand-stitched by Ivy. Painstaking work. Puts us all to shame. Well, puts me and the toilet roll project to shame.

The artists and the artists’ model

There are still a few of these beautiful things that haven’t yet been sold, so if anyone would like to buy one, you can get in touch with us.

Now where are all those beads I had lying around…..
